At the next Assembly 181 meeting

We begin 2019 with two SAM Assembly 181 events, first, on Thursday, January 3, 2019, our regular meeting will included a workshop  by Robert  Francis (aka the Dork of Deception) on Classics with a Twist, including his work on the bottom deal.  

Rob has been performing magic for 26 years and street performing for the last nine from his unofficial residency on the Asbury Park boardwalk.

Society of American Magicians Assembly 181 of Hightstown meets the first Thursday of every month, September thru June at the First United Methodist Church , 187 Stockton Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520. Doors open at 7:00 PM. Workshops start at 7:30 PM.

On January 23, 2019, A.C.E. (Association of Childrens Entertainers) and S.A.M. Assembly 181 are sponsoring a lecture by Duane Laflin at the First United Methodist Church , 187 Stockton Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520.  Doors open at 7:00 PM. Lecture start at 7:30 PM.

The lecture is FREE to all paid members of S.A.M. Assembly 181.

Duane Laflin is an internationally awarded performer who specializes in family-friendly entertainment. In South Africa, Duane was honored as a guest instructor at the Siegfried & Roy College of Magic, in Singapore he was recognized as a Star of Magic, in Mexico City he received the Illusionist Award. The prestigious Magic Circle, located in London, England, has honored him with the highest status a performing magician can receive. He has been made a Member Of The Inner Magic Circle With Gold Star.
