KIDabra #1 is back at the First United Methodist Church (regular meeting location of SAM 181), 187 Stockton Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520, on Thursday, February 22, 2018. Doors open at 7:00 PM. Meetings start at 7:30 PM.

KIDabra is an organization for Kid Show and Family entertainers.  If you are a Children’s Entertainer or are interested in performing for children this is the place to be.  The February meeting will be a discussion about Library Magic Shows.  Children’s entertainer Dennis Thomas will perform a few routines from his Reading is Fun Magic show then discuss the routines and  the thought process that goes into creating a magic show for libraries.

    KIDabra is an organization for Kid Show and Family entertainers. If you are a Children’s Entertainer or are interested in performing for children this is the place to be. At this meeting there will be a workshop on "Warm ups and how to get your show started" by Dennis Thomas.  Dennis is a full-time, professional magician and balloon sculptor. For the past 25+ years, he has specialized in entertaining children with his fun-filled magic shows and balloon twisting.

    2018 NJ Storytelling Festival - Join us as storytellers from throughout New Jersey and the Tri-State area convene at Howell Living History Farm to regale visitors with a whole new crop of stories.

    Each year, the festival's hallmark workshop explores  storytelling techniques and strategies for a variety of applications.  It is free and open to the public. Registration is required. Seating is limited.
